Welcome 2025 with us - we are *so thankful* for all your support. This year, we are especially looking for monthly donations, big and small, so we can increase the availability of our markets and secure the farm as a free and open greenspace for the community for years to come.
About us: We're a not-for-profit urban farm located next to Sugar Creek (part of the South River Watershed) in Atlanta, GA. In partnership with our stewards, we grow organic, regionally-specific fruits and vegetables, flowers, and herbs. For all things we can't grow onsite, we partner with local, community-minded producers committed to the same values.
In everything that we do, we are driven by the ethos of "no one turned away for lack of funds." We host a monthly farmstand, keep a farm fridge filled as much as we are able, accept SNAP/EBT, and offer discounts and free food to anyone who might need it. No proof of need necessary.
Together we aim to cultivate a vibrant community green space through a hyper local farm and markets. We envision a thriving healthy community in which neighbors of varying races, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural backgrounds have equitable access to community greenspace and fresh, hyper-local food and feel empowered to advance their individual and community health.
We value equity, transparency, humility, community input, and a safe and welcoming atmosphere. We want everyone to feel they can come as they are. That being said, we know that the “-isms”, that is racism, sexism, classism, ageism, ableism, etc. intentionally serve to exclude members of our community. Those isms, we will not tolerate.
And of course, we are learning (and unlearning) as we go.
Thank you all for everything thus far - really.
See you 'round the farm.
