Two years ago Serve Uganda built a four-classroom school in the Nakayot Peace Village. The village leaders in a small nearby village have asked us to help them build a two classroom school in their village so their first and second graders do not have to walk the five miles each way to the school we built two years ago. These people are very poor but realize if their children are to experience a better future they need an education. The local government officials have committed to placing trained teachers in the school when it is complete.
