🎧 Help Two Young Children Hear the World Around Them
Imagine being a child and relying on technology to hear your parents say "I love you", your teacher explain the lesson, or your sibling share a silly joke. Now imagine that, due to financial hardship, that connection to the world is slipping away.
We are raising funds to support two young twins who rely on cochlear implants to hear. The rechargeable batteries powering their implants are no longer working, and replacing them comes at a cost their family simply cannot afford: €946.36 per child, totalling €1892.72.
Their parents are doing their best to provide for their children while facing unstable employment and economic hardship. While public support covers the initial cost of cochlear implants, there is no accessible scheme that provides direct financial assistance for battery replacements—a basic, ongoing need for users of this life-changing device.
Without these batteries, the children risk being cut off from sound—and from everything that sound brings: learning, social interaction, safety, and joy.
These children deserve the chance to keep hearing the world around them. Every donation, no matter how small, can help us reach the goal and keep them connected to the sounds of childhood.
