The current English translations of the Tanak (Old Testament) are riddled with thousands of inaccuracies and errors due to reliance on the flawed Masoretic Text, which introduced the misleading "vowel pointing" system (nikkud). These "vowel points" were introduced between the 7th and 10th centuries CE by so-called scribes, known as the Masoretes, under the disguise of preserving correct pronunciation. However, these "vowel points" have significantly altered the original meanings and pronunciations of the texts, particularly the most important Name of all, YAHUAH. By replacing the Name YAHUAH with titles like "Adaniy sn-Adonai" (Lord) or " Alahiym sn-Elohim" (God), these alterations completely divert worship away from YAHUAH’s true Name.
At Promote The Truth, we are committed to restoring the Scriptures to their original purity. Our translation of the Tanak (Old Testament) is based on the oldest and most reliable manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Turah Shumaruniyt (sn-Samaritan Pentateuch). These sources predate the Masoretic Text and are free from the distortions introduced by vowel points. Because we were able to study the original texts before vowel pointing was added, we can easily remove the vowel points in the Leningrad Codex and the Aleppo Codex, which allows us to accurately interpret the text in it purest form. This ensures that every true believer can now have access to the unaltered Word of YAHUAH.
Also, with the Truth Scriptures Bariyt Hadash (New Testament) now complete, we are aggressively ramping up efforts to expose the Greek-based translation errors that have misled many for centuries.
