Trumbull TRACK - Community Outreach

Our Community Outreach program needs new equipment. Please help us provide Bikes, Helmets, Pads, Awards and Facility Improvements.

About Us:

Trumbull TRACK Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the youth of our community. We are an inclusive program focused on promoting community development, a healthy lifestyle, appreciation of the outdoors. Our mission is to give all kids access to cycling allowing them to experience and develop a lifelong love of bicycling, while building the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. We strive to make cycling accessible to all, ultimately fostering the integration of cycling into the fabric of our local communities.

We are an all-volunteer bicycle racing program focused on providing a safe and fun facility for racers of all ages to compete in the sport of BMX. We run a BMX facility which offers, learning programs, bikes, and equipment to those in need, a BMX track for racing competitions and a skills development facility for riders of all ages.

Our outreach programs are open to all children and are focused on bringing kids from inner cities to experience the sport of BMX.  We provide the bikes, equipment, and facility to the children in these outreach programs. We believe that all children should get to experience bicycle focused sporting activities if they wish to do so, and that the need for equipment and facilities should not prevent any child form participating.

We rely solely on volunteer labor, donations, and minimal participation fees. The track is operational from March – December. Our participation fees allow us to “keep the lights on”, but with most of the facility being 40 years old we are in desperate need up updating.

New buildings, electrical, lighting, plumbing, asphalt & concrete surfacing will all need to be done through donations.
