The American Coalition for Ukraine Travel Fund helps ensure that passionate advocates from across the United States are able to participate in the Ukraine Action Summit regardless of financial barriers. The Summit provides a unique opportunity for participants from across the United States to exchange knowledge, share successful advocacy strategies, and engage in educational discussions about Ukraine’s current challenges and global significance. Through meetings with elected officials, delegates help ensure that policymakers remain informed about why sustained U.S. support is critical to Ukraine’s victory and long-term stability.
Travel and lodging costs can be prohibitively expensive for many people, and ultimately prevent otherwise enthusiastic supporters of Ukraine from attending the Ukraine Action Summit. In partnership with our member organization Shield of Freedom, The Travel Fund was created to address those needs by providing supplemental travel and housing assistance to selected constituents.
The Chair of the ACU Outreach & Engagement Committee oversees the distribution of these funds, giving precedence to constituents from “top priority” districts of the United States, as designated by the American Coalition for Ukraine. These areas represent key districts where constituent voices can make the greatest impact toward our legislative priorities.
