The trainees of our Youth Skills Training Scheme, learning tiling and painting/paint production and on course to being set up as tradespeople in 6 to 12 months time
Many of the young people that have dropped out of school are unskilled, unemployed, and unable to get back into formal education but we have plans to get as many as possible off the streets and on to learning a trade.
Please get in touch if you'd like to sponsor one or more young persons and we'll get them sep up with a trainer/mentor. We particularly need sponsors for young girls wanting to be trained in dress-making and fashion designing.
Our new Project Coordinator, Udochukwu, has been in post for just over a month and he's already shaking things up across the primary schools in Amaimo
His first task? Identify 10 children to be enrolled into our scholarship programme, all from Holy Rosary Model Nursery/Primary School. And this week he's been particularly busy getting 60 more children enrolled from 6 other primary schools in the community!

Our special thanks to Theresa Jane from Mid Bedfordshire, England for sponsoring all 10 children from Holy Rosary Model Nursery/primary School.
We're grateful, Theresa, for your interest in the children and your desire to help them make a positive start. Your passion for educating the young ones is simply mind-blowing
Hiya!
Meet Master Delight Ogbonna...
Delight is one of the beneficiaries of our scholarship programme, and it's so delightful to hear the optimism in his voice, he would love to be a lawyer when he grows up!
And the other exciting news to share is that YOU have made it possible for Every Village Matters to start this amazing young person off on his journey to realising his dream.
Your kind donation has helped us to award scholarships to 10 children from Holy Rosary Model Nursery/Primary School this year, including tuition fees, all the recommended text and exercise books, 2 school uniforms, 1 sports outfit, 1 pair of school shoes and socks, and 1 school bag.
We would like to say... Thank You!
