SAME Café Toledo - Monthly Pollinators

POLLINATOR: noun - any agent that promotes growth by ensuring a plant will produce full-bodied fruit and viable seeds.

Join the buzz! Bee a Pollinator and together we can grow a fruitful and diverse garden.

What is a SAME Café Monthly Pollinator? A person who promotes the growth of SAME Café by donating any amount monthly!

We encourage everyone to also:

a) Eat at SAME Café every month and bring a friend!

b) Volunteer for a 1-3 hour shift every month

***The first 20 monthly donors of $20 or more will receive a jar of honey, cultivated in Toledo by Toledo GROWs!***

SAME Café Toledo's mission is to create community through healthy food access, and everyone is treated exactly the same: with dignity and a smile. This innovative, participation-based restaurant invites people from diverse backgrounds to gather and enjoy locally grown, freshly prepared meals in the heart of downtown at the Toledo Lucas County Main Public Library.

In addition, the Cook to Work program equips participants with essential job-readiness skills, promoting economic stability and opening doors to paid employment or further culinary training.

SAME Café Toledo opened in 2022 in the Toledo Main Library as the pilot for the SAME Café / Library Partnership Model and is based on the 18-year success of SAME Café Denver.
