Joey wallabyWe are a wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Australian native animals. We are a not-for-profit organisation, run entirely on the support of volunteers, donations from the public and fundraising.
With natural disasters such as fires and floods we see an influx of animals who are displaced and in need of help.
We care for many marsupials such as kangaroos, possums, koalas, wallabies and sugar gliders. These animals carry their joeys in pouch and often we are faced with caring for mum and her young.
Please consider donating to help us help them.
Donations most often go toward immediate needs such as food, formulas, medical aid, pouches, teats and basic care.
Other donations are spent on more long-term projects which can assist us well into the future. This may include new enclosures, repair of older enclosures, new avairies, fencing materials, shelters and straw for bedding.
An orphaned joey will take up to 2 years to raise to maturity and release age. They feed from their mothers milk for two years, requiring alot of milk formula and other foods to raise them through their different stages of life and rewilding.
We appreciate even the smallest of donations. Bless.
