The James Foundation was founded by us, James Howard Ireton's parents, after James was born still at 34 weeks in 2022. We sought solace in doing things that made us feel close to James. We came across a steel tree with leaves engraved with babies names, this wasn't local to us but found it to be such a beautiful way to remember all babies gone to soon. It sparked the drive to want to help bereaved parents in our local community. This is when The James Foundation came to light, our first goal is to have a steel memorial tree in the our local community but our long term goals are to provide paediatric first aid, funding towards baby's funerals, monthly coffee mornings and providing vital bereavement baby equipment.
