If this grant is funded, our 4th graders will dive into The Wild Robot series as a shared read-aloud experience. Each student will have their own copy to follow along as we explore the story together, chapter by chapter. With The Wild Robot as our guide, students will engage in lively discussions about friendship, nature, technology, and what it means to belong.
The books will also serve as the foundation for hands-on reading activities and lessons that strengthen key literacy skills — from comprehension and vocabulary to critical thinking and creativity. Most importantly, this shared reading journey will help our students develop a lasting love of stories and the joy of learning together as a classroom community.
