For nearly a decade, ReLax has relied on the generous support of the lacrosse community to provide us with equipment to donate to teams, all completely free of charge. ReLax has redistributed over $5 million worth of new and used equipment to over 100 teams across the United States and internationally. Our goal is to never have to turn down a donation request due to lack of inventory; however, we have been falling short in one major category, high quality complete sticks. Despite donations from individuals, teams, retailers, and corporations, there remains a major shortage in this category, and we set out to solve that problem. The solution is to manufacture our own complete stick.
The RC1 is a complete high quality lacrosse stick that was designed with some of the top stringers in the Lacrosse Community and is made with only premium materials. From the shaft to the high-quality mesh, to the custom designed head, to the US based stringing team, no detail was overlooked to make this stick elite. Being a 501-c3 nonprofit organization, we can do one major thing: sell our strung complete stick for $50. In order to accomplish this goal, we need your help in fundraising for the cost of the mold of the head. By fundraising for this fixed cost, we can then charge only the variable cost to teams moving forward. While our goal may seem somewhat ambitious, even a small tax-deductible donation can help pull us one step closer to our goal of having the first affordable high-quality lacrosse stick that can be used at all levels.
