The Psyclean Crew
Having a vision of cleaner festivals is one thing, being able to actually make them reality is another. What began as a dream and wishful thinking in 2013 has grown to an international awareness raising waste management project. In the past 7 years we have brought our expertise to over 40 festivals, connecting hundreds of like-minded volunteers and setting new standards for hundreds of thousands of visitors. Every year we are trying to come up with new projects, better ways and funny methods on how to fight the trash-epidemic of our time, while still not forgetting that a festival should be about fun and music.
Unfortunately growing also comes with obstacles. To operate the project on this scale, we need much more, than Mom's station wagon, with which we started our career. Today it's also about storage costs, tools, tents, car-maintenance and insurance, salaries and income tax, bulk orders, website costs and many-many other cost-intensive parts of running such a project. Festivals are paying us fairly, however there is also a limit to what they can spend on waste management. This is where YOU come in! Our community is vast and the number of lovely souls, who actually want a clean festival is enormous. If everybody is willing to chip in with a little, you can rest assured, that Psyclean will do everything in its power, so you can dance barefoot all day, all night! ;-)
Please note: having smaller monthly donations is worth much more to us, than a one-time donation which is more substantial. We are planing on keeping our eyes at the price and never stop, until everybody gets it and we are not needed anymore.
