Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Obedience Club of San Diego County, we have joined with the San Diego Police Department and the American Kennel Club to raise funds to obtain a new trained K-9 Officer for the SDPD.
One of the Club's founders Fon Johnson was instrumental in training early canine officers for law enforcement in San Diego County. We believe celebrating our anniversary, Fon's contributions and the need of the SDPD would be a wonderful way to have the local community join us in this project.
Police K-9's are expensive and our goal is to pay for the canine officer, his/her training, tactical equipment and kennel. The total amount needed is just under $20,000
