Namaste to you our incredible supporters. As we write this message on September 6th, we are elated to relay the 'Rising Lotus New Campus Fundraiser' has been an incredible success.
Thanks to your generosity and belief in our mission, together we raised over THIRTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS towards completing our brand new campus, permanently housing our 30 girls and staff.
Although we did not reach our $20,000 goal, these funds are sufficient to keep the project on target for the essentials needed for our move in in the coming 4 to 8 weeks. This includes completion of door and window installation, interior and exterior painting, completion of a fully functional kitchen, new dining tables and bedding, compeltion of our washroom, toilet and solar heated shower facility, and all the lighting and plumbing instasllations. We will be posting progress on our social media pages.
Any additional funding will go towards future items such as a kitchen stove, refrigerator, gazeebo for outdoor activities, and a community garden. We have been so fortunate to have received bedroom furniture donated from Nepali supporters which will allow for a seamless move in.
As always, our best tool for raising awareness of our work is word of mouth from our supporters. We ask you continue to share our good work, send us any creative fundraising and engagement ideas you may have! Your efforts empower girls and young women to transcend poverty and realize their goals, through education and social companionship, each and every day.
Thank you for helping us build bright futures,
All our love,
Rising Lotus Co-Directors

Campaign Overview
Namaste! Since our founding in 2006, we at Rising Lotus Children's Village have provided a nurturing home for Nepali girls most in need. It has always been our dream to provide them with the highest quality facilities, supporting their education and development. We are now on the doorstep of making this dream a reality!
We were told late last year that we would have to vacate our home of over a decade before year end 2023. We were blessed with the initial financial support needed to begin designing and constructing the new project.
Over this past year, we have raised $40,000, making rapid progress in constructing this new campus for our 30 girls and staff. Now in the final construction stages, we NEED YOUR HELP to raise the final $20,000, ensuring we provide top-quality facilities for their development. Our goal is to reach this goal by August 31st, with a move in by end of September.
Know that every dollar you give directly impacts our girls' well-being. By supporting Rising Lotus, you are empowering these beautiful young souls to pursue their dreams, breaking the generations-long cycle of poverty and becoming transformative members of their communities; we invite you to see our outcomes.
In supporting the new campus campaign, you are helping provide access to facilities often taken for granted. The new campus will include solar-energy heated showers, a more fully-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area, a new library, larger recreation space for dancing, sport and musical performances, and enlarged and better insulated bedrooms.
Please share this campaign with anyone in your network who would resonate with our mission. Your generosity has brought us this far, and with your continued support, we can help acheive a more equitable world where developing-nation's women are better educated and empowered to make a difference.
