We are the No Name Kitchen team in Bulgaria, near the Turkish border.
Here, people on the move face brutal conditions—not only while trying to continue their journey but also inside detention camps, where access to hygiene essentials, clothing, and proper food is severely lacking.
We do what we can to help:
🌲 Conducting search & rescue missions in the forests when contacted by people in distress—injured, suffering from hypothermia, or lost
🛑 Distributing essential supplies
This work takes a lot—time, energy, and, yes, money. The biggest cost? Fuel.
The distances are huge, and we need 4x4 vehicles to navigate off-road terrain.
We know that asking for money for fuel is the least glamorous fundraiser ever, but we’d rather be honest about what’s needed and trust in the empathy of those who want to support people in this cruel and challenging situation.
