Director, “The Invisible Mammal”
Thanks to all of the donations that we've received over the past six months we have successfully reached the next stage of the post-production process on The Invisible Mammal! We blew past our initial fundraising goal of $25,000 a few weeks ago, allowing our director, Kristin Tieche, and editor, Heidi Zimmerman, to continue working on the film's edit. We submitted the film to South by Southwest in the beginning of October, along with several other festivals over the past month. If all goes according to plan, we will be ready for our festival premiere in March of 2025.
But there's still a lot of work that needs to be done! Although our team has put together a version of the film that is polished enough to submit to a few film festivals, we still need to add original music and animation. We are extremely excited to be working with Grammy-award winning musician, Carla Patullo, on the film's score, but we still need to secure the funding needed to allow Carla to begin composing. Over the coming months, we will also be working on color correction and the film's sound mix.
So we are resetting our funding goal on this campaign, increasing it from $25,000 to $55,000. This additional $30,000 will provide the resources needed to get The Invisible Mammal ready for our festival premiere in March, and will set us up for success as we begin the distribution process.
