The Inn, Hospitality on Mission

Welcome to The Inn@ Kibagabaga, hospitality with a mission.

We have a crazy idea.

Did you know that 6% of Rwanda's GDP comes from tourism? Did you also know that while tourism has greatly helped Rwanda's economy, it is still ranked 22nd in the world's poorest nations list?

What if a small amount of the money spent on tourism, was actually going to those in need?

Over the past two years of living in Rwanda, we have met some amazing Rwandans sharing the gospel and changing lives. These Rwandan leaders are preaching the gospel to unreached people groups in Africa and beyond, providing school fees, medicine, and food to vulnerable women and children, educating the poor, taking care of the sick and battling the demons of alcohol in Rwanda.

At Ministry Gateway, we believe in their God-given visions and we want to be a part of helping them succeed.

So we started thinking, what if we could help these NGOs fulfill their visions by creating a guest house that gives back? What if we could give hospitality a new mission?

What if we could provide excellent hospitality to the guests staying in our space, give visibility to the wonderful work Rwandans are doing, and raise funds for them all at the same time?

We believe it's possible.

In effort to create a sustainable income generator for these local NGOs, we are opening our doors as The Inn @ Kibagabaga, a guest house that gives back.

We are committing to give 100% of the profits to Rwandan NGOs (aka non profits), helping them do the work God has called them to do.

However, in order to get this house up and running, we need some start-up capital. While eventually this guest house should be self sufficient, AND turn a profit to give to others, we need your help to get it started!

We are asking for 6 months of rent (and salary for our staff) in advance which is $2,000/month or $12,000 in total, and an additional $1,500 for beds, linens, towels and a few pieces of furniture to fill this large home, for a grand total of $13,500. (A little something to keep in mind, should any of these funds not be "needed" as start-up capital, they will be given directly to the non-profits! That's a win/win!)

Thank you for investing in Rwandan NGOs!

May God bless you,
