Fifteen percent (15%) of the world’s blindness resides in Africa where over 27 million individuals have visual impairments, 80% of which are treatable but are not as a result of poverty.
At R4HS Foundation, we are passionate about creating a world where a person’s ability to enjoy the gift of sight is not dependent on the location of their birth or the color of their skin. Since our founding in 2021 and thanks to generous supporters like you, we have provided free routine eye screening, cataract surgery or prescription lenses to almost 6,000 individuals but there is more needed
Our giving event on Tuesday, November 29th was very successful. Between donations from kind supporters like you and a generous matching from our founder, we raised close to $15,000 of our $20,000 appeal.
