The FitzLane Project currently provides fully funded LGBTQIA+ specialized therapeutic sessions to underprivileged transgender and nonbinary youth in the Tampa Bay Florida area.
This campaign is for Phase 1 of our statewide Florida expansion. Once we meet our $100K goal, we will have the ability to provide our funding statewide immediately.
According to a 2022 survey from The Trevor Project:
1 in 5 transgender and nonbinary youth attempted suicide this past year.
Over 50% of transgender and nonbinary youth seriously considered suicide this past year.
Nearly 3 in 5 transgender and nonbinary youth wanted mental health care last year and were unable to get it.
