Fingers crossed for the Curlews. -Stephanie and John Foster, Canada
In memory of the lovely Sharon Pounder who loved to watch the curlews (her favourite bird) at Elmley
In memory of Sharon Pounder thank you
Well done Elmley! The curlews need all the help we can give and the reserve provides a perfect rearing and fledging opportunity. Thank you to all the staff who support us and the wildlife,
Great Project indeed
Fantastic work by all involved
Thanks for an informative eve. A great project.
Thank you Simon, Andy and Kevin, for hosting 4th Milton Regis Beavers at Elmley Nature Reserve. Your conservation efforts and kind knowledge sharing is appreciated.
Very best of luck for year two.
Happy to help this wonderful project for a second year.
What a wonderful project! I live 'over the water' in Leigh-on-Sea and often see and hear curlews around Two Tree Island and the surrounding saltmarsh, so it's a pleasure to make a small contribution to their survival. Good luck little curlews + huge thanks Elmley team!
We love the curlews at Emley and hope in the future many others can enjoy them as much as we do .
Good luck with this project - the call of the curlew is one of the most evocative sounds in British nature.
Fantastic to learn about the Curlew Recovery Project this evening. Wishing you every success with the beautiful fledglings.
Brilliant to be involved in the conservation of such and iconic bird.
A great opportunity to help these magnificent birds.
Good luck Elmley 💚
