The 99% is moving to the next stage and we need your help!

Welcome to the 99% Organisation’s fundraising page

99% is working to end mass impoverishment so that current and future generations are able to lead better, fairer, greener and more fulfilling lives.

Mass impoverishment is where most people are getting poorer over time despite the economy growing. It’s been happening in the UK for the last 10 years. And this inequality has been further worsened by Covid.

The good news – and economics and morality agree – is that mass impoverishment is not inevitable.

We can afford to end it, we should end it and we need our politicians to make the policy choices to end mass impoverishment.

Now we are asking you, our supporters, to help us take our work to the next level.

So far, we have been unfunded and run by volunteers. And we have achieved a lot: - we’ve grown to 1,400 members; we’ve engaged with Government, media and local communities; and we have launched a number of important projects.

Our ambition is to grow by 10,000 members in the next 12 months, to give us critical mass for our lobbying and campaigning work ahead of the next election.  We need funding to:

  • help our recruitment efforts
  • help our research and campaigning to raise awareness of what is happening in our country
  • continue to challenge this government on every policy that is not in the interests of 99% of people in the UK
  • help us offer internships to help us with our research
