This Isn’t Just Baseball.
Friends of Baseball has been providing access and equitable opportunities for Portland youth for two decades. Through year-round programs that blend sport, mentorship, and leadership development, we break down barriers and create belonging for youth who have historically been left out.
This summer, our Full Count RBI Academy athletes have earned the chance to represent Portland at the MLB Nike RBI Regional Tournament in Seattle a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete at a high level and grow alongside their peers.
But they can’t do it alone.
The true cost per player is $1,000, covering transportation, meals, gear, coaching, mental health support, and pre/post-trip development. While we’ve secured key partner funding, several athletes still need support to make the trip possible.
