This year, more people than ever—especially young people—turned to our Toll-Free Lifeline for support. Some were facing mental health struggles or thoughts of suicide. Others were overwhelmed by financial stress, family conflict, or the deep loneliness that can feel unbearable when there’s nowhere else to turn.
That’s when our Lifeline matters most. Every call and every chat is a moment of connection—a steady, compassionate voice offering understanding, comfort, and hope. And every one of those moments reminds someone that they do not have to face their pain alone.
¥12,000 covers the hard costs of one full day of toll-free calls and chat support—the day someone finds the courage to reach out.
¥30,000 provides 24-hour weekend coverage, when loneliness often peaks.
¥84,000 sustains a full week of listening, caring, and hope.
¥380,000 keeps an entire month of lifesaving connection available.
