Goal

TAPP Coalition is looking for monthly supporters to bolster our main activities of 2024:


  • We urge the new Dutch government to make healthy and sustainable food cheaper, and unhealthy, polluting food more expensive.

  • In Europe and internationally, we are committed to pricing greenhouse gases in the agri-food chain, for instance through an Emissions Trading Scheme (Agri-ETS)
     
  • We support governments of developing countries with the realisation of a tax on meat in rich countries, with the levy proceeds being partly used for the new Loss & Damage Fund. 
     
  • We ask supermarkets to organise Fair Price Week (including meat, dairy and veg) similar to supermarket Penny's trial in Germany, or True Price in AH to Go's in the Netherlands.
     
  • We realise a survey to make it clear to politicians that a fair price for meat and dairy is not an unpopular measure and enjoys broad support, in the Netherlands and internationally.
