Join us for an Inter-generational Cooking Class & Fundraiser with live Music by The Amalgamators.  All proceeds support Community Harvest Events in the Northeast this Fall.Corn Harvest Celebration, Rabinal, Guatemala, November 2024

Stone Bend Farm: 196 Porter Hill Rd, Newfield



Schedule

5:30 - 6:30 Cooking Class with Sabina Ajcot.  Learn how to make Guatemalan style tamalitos with all local and regional ingredientes. 

6:30 - 7:00 Presentation on Food Sovereignty and Solidarity Work with the Maya Achi of Guatemala. 

7:00 - 8:30 Live music with The Amalgamators, Vintage Surf Rock and Lounge. 


Suggested Donations 

$30 for Cooking Class, Food Sovereignty Presentation and Music 5:30-8:30pm (includes all ingredients, two tamalitos and amaranth horchata)

$20 for Food Sovereignty Presentation and Music 6:30-8:30 (with option to purchase tamalitos)
