We are thrilled to share an exciting new development that will enhance the learning experience of our students in Kenya. As part of the new national Competency-based Curriculum, swimming has been introduced as a subject for our Korando Primary School students. But here's the splash of reality: many of our kids have never even seen a swimming pool, let alone learned how to swim.

During one of our recent "swimming classes" (theory, mixed with some exercises on the playground), a dedicated volunteer observed the children's enthusiasm and recognized the need for real swimming lessons (in actual water...). This inspired us to explore solutions, and YES - We found the perfect opportunity just an 8-minute walk away from our center!

A nearby hotel, with a beautiful swimming pool, is open to letting our students use their facilities for structured lessons. Imagine the joy and excitement of our kids as they dive into the pool on a weekly basis for the next 1 year. The hotel's management has already agreed to give us an exceptionally good rate and we are confident that this collaboration will provide our students with essential swimming skills, ensuring their safety in waters as well as compliance with their curriculum requirements.

But we need your help to make this dream come true!
