Partner With Us to Grow a Movement

As organizers of the Sustainable Christian Agriculture Conference, we are convening a diverse network of farmers, theologians, educators, and practitioners committed to restoring land, strengthening rural communities, and renewing faith-based approaches to agriculture. Over four days at Hungry World Farm and several days in Basel, Switzerland, this gathering will bring together more than 200 initiatives—many of them currently working in isolation—for keynote talks, hands-on workshops, field experiences, and practical collaboration.

The conference features an incredible lineup of speakers including Ray Archuleta (Understanding Ag, Soil Health Academy), David P Warners & Gail Heffner (Calvin University), Laurel Kearns, Professor Drew Theological School), Raymond Epp (Japan's leading figure in Christian regen ag), Rev. Sarah Macias (Sister Grove Farm), Brent Barry (Stout Creek Farm) - and that's just in the USA.

During the Basel Switzerland conference portion contributors include Carrie Dohe, Christiane Aref-Moor, Dr. Jonathon Schramm (Goshen College), and our own Rev. Dr. Cal Zehr.

We are seeking to raise $15,000 to make this conference possible and accessible. These funds directly support speaker travel, program costs, scholarships, and reduced-cost registrations and lodging for farmers, students, and emerging leaders who would otherwise not be able to attend.

Registration (food, lodging) is approximately $250 per person, and one of the most direct ways to make an impact is by sponsoring someone’s attendance. Your support helps ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation in this growing movement.

We are grateful for your donation of any amount.

Thank you for your consideration and support,

SCAI Conference Organizing Committee

Julius Malin (Basel, Switzerland), Esther Himbaza (Basel, Switzerland), Rev. Dr. Cal Zehr (HWF Board), Susan Kauffman (HWF Board & Soils Instructor), Sam Ingersoll (Hungry World Farm)

Meal Sponsorship Opportunities

Shared meals are a central part of this gathering—where relationships are formed, ideas are exchanged, and the work deepens around the table. Meals will feature farm-grown vegetables from Hungry World Farm along with locally sourced ingredients to create a true farm-to-table conference experience.

Donations support meals including food, preparation, staffing, and service support.

Why It Matters

This conference is more than an event—it is a catalyst for connection, collaboration, and shared learning across a growing movement in Christian regenerative agriculture. Your support helps ensure that this space remains accessible, grounded, and deeply nourishing—physically, intellectually, and spiritually.

If you believe in restoring land, strengthening rural communities, and equipping the next generation of leaders, we invite you to partner with us in making this gathering possible.
