What is Homeshare and Who Does it Help?
A Homeshare is based on the principle of exchange; the "Householder" offers affordable accommodation, and the individual moving into the Householders' home, the "Homesharer", offers 10 hours of Companionship and Support with general household tasks such as shopping, dog walking, cleaning and help with keeping appointments.
Who We Work With?
Supportmatch works closely with NHS England and Local Authorities to provide access to affordable housing solutions for Key Workers and First Responders; such as Doctors, Nurses, Carers, Teachers and Mature Students who naturally embrace the idea of sharing and being part of daily life with an older Householder who welcomes the companionship and support.
Supportmatch is a Community Interest Company and operates a lean financial model that is primarily geared to giving back to communities across the UK. We invest in communities to support people in need of companionship who in turn open the doors to their homes and provide affordable accommodation options to Key Workers and Mature Students.
We have helped hundreds of Householders' and thousands of Homesharers' in UK.

Why We Need Your Help

Key Workers and First Responders are struggling to make ends meet, unable to find affordable accommodation, especially anywhere near their places of work due to high rental prices, combined with impossible cost of living pressures and the difficult housing crisis that is prevalent across the UK; Supportmatch Homeshare has been a life-line for people across the nation.
The national average cost for renting or lodging a room across the UK is £640 per month; Homesharing offers a significant cost saving solution of £460 per month, with Homesharers' paying only £190 per month which includes bills!
