Each year, WSANA is dependent upon YOU to fund the variety of activities that take place in the Square - the summer concert series, movie nights, Open Square Sundays, the Halloween Party, the Annual Tree Lighting, and our support of neighborhood charitable organizations.
This year, we expanded our events by collaborating with other South End neighborhood associations by hosting joint social gatherings to enhance and elevate our shared goals to create a better neighborhood.
Our 2024 Fundraising campaign to raise $5,000 was a complete success. With a total of 31 donations, we raised $5,775.00! The breakdown is as follows:
2 - $1,000 donations
7 - $200 to $300
14 - $100 to $150
7 - $25 to $50
Donations were accepted via Donorbox, checks, and yes, cash. 3 donors used recurring plans to give. 2 continue to do so. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO GAVE AND CONTINUE TO GIVE!
Our 2025 goal is $7,500, and to double the number of active donors! Given the size of our association, we can and will succeed!
To help you understand where your dollars go, here’s a breakdown of current 2025 expenses. Like everything else today, price/cost pressures affect WSANA’s bottom line.

In addition to the above costs, WSANA incurs administrative outlays for web hosting, web software, and DonorBox fees. ~$750. Web development and social media postings are all donated activities.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in the neighborhood. Your tax-deductible gift made via this link will be used for the exclusive benefit of our events and our generosity to neighborhood organizations.
This campaign only supports WSANA’s ongoing programming. It does not aid in the beautification or maintenance of the Square.
