Dear Friends and Supporters,
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated to our campaign. Your generosity has made it possible for us to return to the reservations for a week, a journey we could not afford on our own but is essential for our family and important for our community.
We are filled with hope as we prepare to go back to a place so deeply rooted in history and our spirit. We believe this trip is a chance for us to address and hopefully begin to resolve longstanding issues that have affected our family and people for generations.
We're heading into this experience with open hearts, knowing that the path may be difficult but also believing in the possibility of healing and understanding. Calvin just needs to be heard. He needs stand with and before his people and speak with them earnestly about the sacred belongings, about his ancestry, and the problem of misinformation in the public. We hope he will be given that opportunity as it has not been possible to communicate directly with those who really need to hear him. We had hoped Zoom would be sufficient but it wasn't.
Thanks to your support, we are not going into this alone. We promise to keep you updated with all that happens, sharing our journey and the changes your kindness has helped bring about.
