“The Goodson family wishes to express our profound grief and shock at the tragic incident that unfolded on December 2 & 3, resulting in the death of a cherished father, husband, son, brother, son-in-law, and friend. 

Simply put, we are devastated.

We are grappling with an overwhelming sense of loss and seeking answers as to why this situation unfolded as it did. 

While we look forward to telling our side of the events of December 2 and 3, we kindly request that the media and the public respect the family's privacy during this period of mourning. Further updates and information regarding memorial services and tributes will be shared in the coming days.
