SUPPORT THE B. F. SKINNER FOUNDATION
I know how much you value the contributions of B. F. Skinner as a scientist, a philosopher, and a social commentator. You also understand how his scientific principles have made possible improvements in people’s lives, especially in those of children with autism. In today’s climate, replacing aversive techniques with positive procedures is needed more than ever. The Foundation works towards that goal. The Foundation website provides information to the media and to the public. We make what Skinner said in his publications and talks available to the public. The magazine Operants spreads current work of researchers, theorists, and practitioners worldwide. The Foundation works with Harvard University’s archival programs to preserve archival materials for future generations. In the past several years demands for Foundation services have increased. So has the Foundation’s need for resources. Please donate today.

Skinner's work is the enduring heart of behavior analysis and will continue to anchor it as the field grows and diversifies. Preserving and promoting Skinner's legacy is the most effective way to contribute to the future.

I had the pleasure of meeting B. F. Skinner, as a teenager, while working at Charlie Atkinson’s Competence Assurance Systems (CAS) in Cambridge, MA. He would address me by name, unprompted. I found him genuinely interested in our conversation. Having the same name as his wife, I believe, generated moments upon which I fondly reflect decades later. I remember he smiled when he first learned my name was Yvonne. The work of this organization, to both preserve and build upon the legacy of B. F. Skinner is impressive. Proud to be considered a Friend. - C. Yvonne Hickey, North Attleboro, MA (and proud Cantabrigian)

I am, now, a 67 year old licensed psychologist in the State of Florida. B.F. Skinner and Walden Two were my entry in the field of psychology. I was a dyed in the wool "Behaviorist" until Cognitive Behavioral Psychology came into existence. B.F. Skinner was and is my hero - I actually have pictures of him at a conference he presented at in Miami in the 1970s. I am happy that there is now a Foundation in his honor - way cool!!!
