We are women.
We are the ones who know how you feel.
We are here, not to make women fearless, but to face our fears together. To be Strong.
We are Strong me and this is our cause.
Strong me is not profit organization that was founded by artist-activist Aspasia Theofilou in 2020 and its based in Athens.
Strong me operates all over Greece with the aim to raise awareness about the prevention and fight against gender-based violence.
Over those two years of its operation, Strong me has managed to bring relief to many abused women by providing support and legal consultation.
Strong me has no sources other but the member’s fee and relies on donations and sponsorships by its supporters.
Strong me has accomplished to-
To establish Greece’s largest festival for the prevention and fight against gender-based violence.
To cooperate with local agencies and organizations all over Greece and to provide supportive services where there are no state social structures.
To support women who needed legal and psychological support, as well as to offer benefits in basic necessities.
To create the first national interactive campaign for the legal recognition of the term “femicide” with the participation of 33 Municipalities of Greece and well-known artists, such as Zeta Douka, Amalia Kavali, Themis Bazaka, Maria Constantaki, Maria Andoulinaki, Eleni Kokkidou, Michalis Syriopoulos and many others.
To actively include men and boys in the game to achieve gender equality through cooperation with PAE OFI and the Panhellenic Association of Paid Football players.
To continue to be independent in our fight, Strong me needs your support.
We can all turn our fear into strength!
