ASU's Cade Briggs is Focused on Making a Difference in Children's Lives

Join Cade in Enabling Youth Sports Participation by Investing in the Future of Children of Incarcerated Parents (CIPs) in Arizona

Put Me In!, an innovative nonprofit dedicated to leveling the playing field for children of incarcerated parents (CIPs), proudly announces Arizona State University’s standout offensive lineman, Cade Briggs, as its inaugural collegiate Athlete Ambassador. Briggs, who has volunteered with the SASA Squad Foundation since 2018, is now expanding his philanthropic efforts. The mission of both nonprofit organizations, which is to empower young athletes through mentorship and sports, resonates deeply with Briggs. He stated, "I’m honored and grateful to be an Athlete Ambassador for Put Me In!, especially alongside NFL legend Julian Edelman. I'm excited to make a real difference for these kids."

Put Me In's mission is to increase access to sports for children of incarcerated parents (CIPs)

Put Me In! provides committed recurring financial aid grants to CIPs to support their participation in athletics. Annual grants begin while a CIP is in elementary school, and our support continues through high school. Our financial aid helps cover the costs of equipment and registration fees.

  • Our financial aid grants are $1,000 per year per CIP from elementary school through high school. Once a CIP is enrolled in PMI!, the financial aid for sports participation is committed.
  • Our financial aid helps cover the cost of equipment, uniforms, league participation fees, travel, and other expenses directly associated with participation in sports.
  • Our organization is designed to efficiently distribute financial aid to support long-term participation in sports by CIPs.

Put Me In's targeted long-term outcomes for the children we serve are:

  • Increased self-esteem
  • Increased personal resilience
  • Unlocking the broad range of positive mental and physical health benefits derived from participation in sports

Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of children of incarcerated parents.  Your recurring contribution can help us provide committed financial aid grants to support their participation in sports, building their self-esteem and resilience for brighter futures.

By committing to a monthly or annual donation, you can help ensure that our support continues through high school, unlocking the broad range of positive mental and physical health benefits derived from participation in sports.
