Pier Players Theatre Company is presenting the world premiere of an exciting new play called I Think We're Lost, and we're in need of some extra support!

This play, a darkly comedic reimagining of Peter Pan, is our most expensive show to date. With its big cast, elaborate set needs, and special effects (you can't have a Peter Pan show without pixie dust!), this show is a really exciting undertaking for us, but we are in need of a little bit of extra financial support.

If you feel comfortable, any amount would be so greatly appreciated. Your contribution would immensely help us make our ambitious project a reality!

We are so grateful for our audiences and our community of supporters, and it means a lot that you're visiting this campaign page. Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to see you at our show in April!

In case it's helpful, here is some information about the show, our company, and donation FAQs:

About the Production:

It’s 2026. Wendy is gone, and Peter considers leaving Neverland. To keep her fantasy alive, a scheming Tinker Bell recruits two new arrivals—a “Lost Boy” and a “Wendy 2.0.” But as the newcomers confront their existential baggage, they uncover unsettling truths buried in Neverland’s past. With the help of a little pixie dust, I Think We’re Lost transports us to a postmodern Neverland and gives a brand new take on one of the most beloved stories of all time.

I Think We’re Lost is written by Peter Fenton, directed by Madison Caudullo, and produced by Chelsea Cylinder. The world premiere production is scheduled for April 10th-19th at Theatre Exile.

About Pier Players Theatre Company:

Pier Players is a theatre company dedicated to promoting, supporting, and giving a platform to the Philadelphia community’s new works and new visions for pre-existing pieces. Pier Players recently received local, national, and international attention for its 2024 productions of the musical romantic comedy The Angry Grammarian. The company presented the world premiere production in March 2024 at Theatre Exile, and, by popular demand, remounted the production in September 2024 at the Arden Theatre Company’s Arcadia Stage. Their work was Barrymore recommended, named one of the top things to do in Philadelphia, and was also featured in major publications, including The New Yorker. The following spring, in March 2025, the company collaborated with The Media Theatre on the Philadelphia premiere of the new musical Ink & Paint by Danielle E. Moore, which just had a public reading in collaboration with Roundabout Theatre Company and Newport New Works starring Broadway’s Sierra Boggess and Ashley Spencer. Most recently, Pier Players presented the first-ever production of David Lee White's Etiquette, which received rave reviews and earned the company its second Barrymore Recommendation.

Donation FAQs

What is my donation supporting?

Your donation would greatly enhance our productions and would go directly to all of our production expenses, including higher compensation for our cast and creative team members, more elaborate productions, better venues and rehearsal spaces, and so much more!

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! Your donation is fully tax-deductible.

I would rather send a check through an organization. Can I do that instead?

Yes you can! If you'd prefer to send a check, rather than go through our Donorbox, you can definitely do that. Please email pierplayerstheatreco@gmail.com, and we will send instructions for that.
