This summer, Boca Ballet Theatre is facing an urgent challenge: the State of Florida has eliminated arts funding, resulting in the complete loss of this seasons state support. But while public funding has changed, our commitment to our dancers, students, and community has not.
We’re moving forward — and we’re asking for your help to keep the curtain rising, the music playing, and the dancers dancing all summer long.

Where Potential Becomes Professional
Each summer, Boca Ballet Theatre becomes a beacon for rising stars in the dance world. Through our prestigious Advanced Summer Performance Workshop, we welcome 32 pre-professional dancers from across the country and abroad for five weeks of elite-level training. These dancers are mentored by renowned Artistic Directors. It’s a rare and invaluable opportunity for these young dancers to refine their craft, deepen their artistry, and build meaningful professional networks that can launch their careers.
The summer season culminates in Summer Breezes, an exhilarating performance that brings our stage to life with the energy and talent of the next generation of dance professionals — joined by Sasha De Sola, Principal Dancer with San Francisco Ballet. This unforgettable performance is a celebration of everything Boca Ballet Theatre stands for: excellence, opportunity, and inspiration. Come be part of the magic!
Dance Programs for Children
From tiny ballerinas to advanced young dancers, our summer camps introduce students to the joy of dance in a safe, nurturing environment. These camps build confidence, creativity, and coordination — and often, a lifelong love of the arts.
BBT4PD: Continuing Outreach Through Dance
Summer also means continuity for our BBT4PD program, offering adaptive movement classes to individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. This program provides not just physical support, but emotional connection, community, and hope.
