Many countries regard persecution for one's religion as good grounds for asylum. Crazy enough, an absence of religion is often not one of those. Not even if you come from a country where apostasy carries the death penalty.


We fight for absolute freedom of thought and speech. Until this is recognized, and atheists are given a chance to flee Afghanistan, many will have to go into hiding in safe houses, where their own families can pose the greatest danger. Often they have lost their entire social support network.


Help atheists in Afghanistan survive until we can get them to safety. A small monthly donation can make all the difference.


We are looking for 250 sponsors that could donate for about $ 10,- per month for the time these people need our support and we can get them to a safe place outside Afghanistan.
