The Museum of Avant-garde (MA-g) is a registered non-profit Foundation dedicated to preserving, researching, and sharing experimental art and culture. Our exhibitions, archive, publications, and public programs are made possible through the generosity of individuals, artists, and organizations who believe in the importance of keeping cultural initiatives accessible and independent.
The museum's permanent home is scheduled to open in Milan Italy in 2027 within a previously underutilized space inside the M5 Marche Metro station, transforming it into a vibrant cultural destination. More than a museum, it is a project of urban regeneration that brings new life to an underutilized public space, creating a place where art, culture, and community can thrive. By locating art outside the traditional city center, we aim to make culture more accessible to a broader and more diverse audience. This unique project reflects our commitment to the Avant-garde spirit, to experimentalism and to breaking conventions and dogmas that continue to shape modern creativity.
Every contribution, regardless of size, directly supports the museum's activities, the preservation of its collections and archives, and the development of future exhibitions. By supporting MA-g, you become part of a community committed to safeguarding cultural heritage while encouraging new forms of artistic research and public engagement.
As a registered Italian non-profit (ETS), donations could enable access to tax benefits associated with charitable contributions under applicable Italian legislation. Monetary donations and certain in-kind contributions may be eligible for favorable tax treatment, making support for the Museum not only impactful but also tax-efficient. Donors should seek professional tax advice regarding their individual eligibility and circumstances.
