Karla Can is the only Fully Accredited Representative in Santa Barbara County. This is a huge deal. This means that we no longer have to send clients all the way to Los Angeles to find someone to represent them in immigration court. Here's the catch: Karla currently works 20 hours per week. This is where you come in.
We need your help to bring Karla on full time at Immigrant Hope. At 40 hours a week, Karla can take on bigger cases like removal defenses, asylum seeker cases, and more. She will also be able to train our other partially accredited representatives, increasing Immigrant Hope SB's capacity to provide low-cost, pro-bono legal services to members of our immigrant community.
