Protect Children is a non-governmental, not for profit organization focusing solely on ending all forms of sexual violence against children. We know that the topic is a difficult one, but it is one we cannot turn our backs to. Children are being subjected to sexual violence everywhere in the world, both through physical contact, and online. In our daily work we see the suffering of the child victims of sexual abuse and exploitation, as well as that of their families and close ones.
Child sexual abuse is a public health crisis. We must approach the matter from various angles. That is what we at Protect Children do. We conduct research, educate professionals, parents, caregivers, and children alike, we create concrete educational materials for schools and homes. We focus on prevention through focusing not only on potential child victims and their families, but also on (potential) offenders to ultimately protect children from sexual violence everywhere.
Our small but mighty team consists of 7 unbelievably passionate and truly exceptional individuals who work daily to further the realization of the rights of children everywhere.
