Having successfully completed my O/Levels, I made the decision to pursue a British Foundation in Higher Education program instead of following the traditional Advanced Levels route. I am now nearing the completion of this program and am fully prepared for the next step in my academic journey.
My goal is to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at a reputable public university in Germany, where the program is taught in English. I have carefully chosen Germany not just for its world-class education system, but because it offers free or low-tuition public universities, affordable on-campus housing, and the ability for international students to work part-time to support their living expenses.
I have already met the academic and language requirements, and I’m in the final stages of preparing my student visa application. However, there is one major obstacle standing in the way: the Blocked Account (Sperrkonto).
To get a student visa for Germany, I need to deposit €11,208 into a special bank account that proves I can afford to live in Germany for one year. This amount is beyond what I or my family can afford due to our financial circumstances. Without this deposit, I cannot proceed with the visa or begin my studies.
I am launching this campaign not just to ask for financial help, but to reach kind people who believe in the power of education and want to support a determined student striving for a better future. I am choosing to remain anonymous to protect my privacy and dignity, but I am fully prepared to privately share documents such as my university admission letter and blocked account requirements with anyone who wants transparency.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to unlocking this life-changing opportunity. If you’re unable to contribute, even sharing this campaign will mean the world to me.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
