My name is Hamza. I am 17 years old, writing to you from Gaza.

I love studying. It is my hope, my comfort, and my way of holding onto a better future. I especially love studying with my younger sister—we try to keep learning, even in the hardest times.

We are a family of seven. I have four sisters. My father is seriously ill, and my mother suffers from heart problems. Right now, both of them are in the hospital with life-threatening conditions.

We are struggling to meet even our most basic needs. There is a severe lack of medicine, and my sisters are in pain without proper treatment.

Despite everything, my sisters continue to dream:

One of my sisters dreams of becoming a doctor. She has worked so hard, but she needs help with transportation and university costs to continue her education.
My sister Atala has just finished high school. She dreams of studying journalism so she can tell the world what is happening in Gaza.
My youngest sister loves learning but needs basic school supplies like notebooks, lessons, and study materials.

As for me, I am preparing for my final exams, but I also need support for lessons and educational materials so I can continue my studies.

We are doing our best to stay strong, but we cannot do this alone.

Our goal is to bring hope, relief, and a chance for a better life to those who need it most, and your support can make a real difference.
For many years, I’ve supported international organizations that provide humanitarian aid, help children and mothers, and assist families displaced by war. Since last year, I’ve been personally helping families in Gaza, witnessing firsthand the extreme challenges they face every day.
