From September 10 to October 10, 2026, TELL will hold the Step-Up Challenge 2026 in remembrance of the 19,188 lives lost to suicide in Japan last year. We hope schools, communities, families, and workplaces will join us in helping start conversations around mental health and suicide prevention.
HOW:
1) Make a team and choose your date. You can join a pre-scheduled TELL community walk (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, or Okinawa) OR make your own walk, journey with a friend, or organize your company teams to compete for the certificates (including most steps in a day, most funds raised, and most creative use of 19,188 number)
2) Get ready to register and buy a ¥1,500 TELL Step Up Ticket (to be eligible for certificates and swag). The first 500 ticket holders will receive special swag. Tickets are available on the TELL website on August 1, 2026.
3) Click the 'I want to fundraise for this' button in the top right corner to create your own fundraising page. Personalize your story, share it with friends and family, and help make an even bigger impact. Every contribution makes a difference.
TELL will host a Candlelight Vigil in Tokyo on September 10th. For more information, please use the following link: Candlelight Vigil 2026
