St James is pleased to partner with WEST Youth Zone, a new state-of-the-art youth centre opened in April 2024 in Hammersmith and Fulham by Prince William with thousands of local people.
What is WEST Youth Zone?
WEST is an incredible space filled with energy, inspiration and highly skilled youth workers who truly believe in young people. WEST is a member of the OnSide Network of Youth Zones across the UK.
WEST is open to those aged to 8-19, and up to 25 with additional needs.
The youth centre has the following facilities:
- climbing wall
- four court sports hall
- boxing and martial arts gym
- sensory room
- large café and social area
- music and recording studios
- film and digital media suite
- arts and crafts workshop
- performing arts studio
- training kitchen
- wellness room
- fitness suite
- rooftop pitch
- enterprise and employability room
- 121 room and library
- board room
St James is supporting WEST with fundraising, volunteering, employment programmes and opportunities over the next three years of the partnership.
