Scripps Ranch High School Music Program Donations
While the students and music director provide the talent, a great deal of volunteer time and financial resources are also needed. Every contribution makes a difference, and your support enables our students to further enrich their musical and performance experiences.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $10 or $500. Every little bit helps.
How are my donations used?
Donations will go towards music/curriculum, online theory training software, repairing and purchasing school-owned instruments, purchase of necessary equipment, and music licensing fees. A voluntary donation would help cover the costs for one student for the school year/per ensemble, Orchestra: $200, Concert Band: $200, Marching Band & Color Guard: $250, Winter Guard: $300 (This is not including transportation fees).
Why are donations necessary?
The success of a musician should not be limited by equipment and materials. Donations help us offer a quality music program for all students. Unfortunately, the program receives essentially no funding from the school district, and students often cannot afford the equipment they need to be effective. The program relies on Music Boosters and the generosity of donors to help cover operating costs.
Thank you in advance for your support.
SRHS Music Boosters is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization; your donations may be tax deductible.
Because you and your student(s) have the right to free public education, your voluntary donation is optional and would be greatly appreciated. Students’ grades will not be affected in any way, regardless of whether or not their family chooses to donate to the program.
