We are so excited to be able to give this beautiful, sentient being the chance at life that everyone deserves, unlike the countless other victims of the dairy industry who are shot or hit over the head with a shovel and left on a kill pile, or sent to a veal farm to fatten up and be killed, just so that humans can have the milk that was meant for them. You see, Oliver came from a local VT dairy farm where he was taken away from his mother immediately after birth, after she was forcibly impregnated just so that she can produce milk. Though we are immeasurably happy and grateful to be able to offer this beautiful baby a home, it does come at a financial cost that we had not anticipated. Being sensitive to the artificial milk-replacer formula usually given to bottle calves, we made the decision to feed him 100% milk as that is what he was meant to drink anyhow! Since the switch he has been much healthier and thriving! Real milk is expensive, though, especially when Oliver drinks a gallon or more per day just himself!
