We are so excited to be able to give this beautiful, sentient being the chance at life that everyone deserves, unlike the countless other victims of the dairy industry who are shot or hit over the head with a shovel and left on a kill pile, or sent to a veal farm to fatten up and be killed, just so that humans can have the milk that was meant for them. You see, Coco came from a local VT dairy farm where she was taken away from her mother immediately after birth, after she was forcibly impregnated just so that she can produce milk. Though we are immeasurably happy and grateful to be able to offer this beautiful baby a home, it does come at a financial cost that we had not anticipated. Like all bottle-fed calves, Coco drinks a LOT of milk! Real milk is expensive, though, especially when Coco drinks a gallon or more per day just herself! Your sponsorship will help to offset some of this cost as well as help fund overall care.
