YOU have made Sons of Patriarchy possible.
Our mission is to explain the rise of Christian Nationalism, Patriarchy, and Doug Wilson, and centering the voices and stories of those who have been abused and silenced in and by these movements.
As these movements and their ideas transition from "fringe to mainstream," we need to devote more of our time and effort to this work.
(We are currently planning our next event, the 1-on-1 between Doug Wilson and Peter Bell, live in Moscow, Idaho.)
Here's our plan:
- Transition Peter and Sarah from volunteers to part-time or full-time.
- Hold events in Moscow and across the country in various "hot spots" where these movements are spreading fastest.
- Develop the funds to secure training for our volunteers who intake the stories of the survivors and silenced.
- Devote time to collaborating with other voices who are speaking out about what is happening.
- Professionalize the podcast, both video and audio.
- Purchase the A/V equipment necessary to make the live-stream experience of our upcoming events.
- Give a % of our income to the nonprofits we trust that are devoted to providing financial resources to those who are trying to flee these movements and churches.
