Celebrate National Women's Equity Day: Help Us Send 26 Women & Marginalized Creators to SLICE 2026!
💜 Equity in Action: Packing the Room for Women in Games
Today is National Women's Equity Day, and Seattle Indies is putting equity directly into action.
The past few years have brought unprecedented challenges to game development, with studio cutbacks, restructuring, and layoffs disproportionately impacting women and marginalized creators across the Pacific Northwest.
For 10 years, Seattle Indies has stood as a non-profit pillar for local creators. To mark our 10th anniversary and Year 2 of SLICE 2026, we are launching a special Women's Equity Day campaign: raise $2,600 to unlock 26 full-access passes for women and marginalized developers in our community—ensuring cost is never a barrier to entry.
🎟️ The $2,600 Goal: How It Works
Our goal is simple: $2,600 unlocks 26 tickets for SLICE 2026.
$2,600 Milestone: 100% of funds raised will go directly toward unlocking 26 full conference passes for women, non-binary creators, and underrepresented developers.
$100 = 1 Ticket: Every $100 raised completely covers a full conference pass for a peer developer.
-
Packing the Breakfast & Roundtables: Sponsored ticket recipients will receive priority access to the Women in Games Breakfast (sponsored by K&L Gates) and dedicated morning roundtable sessions on authentic leadership, career resilience, and confidence in games.
